At Reflections Dental Health Centre, we use technology that helps us provide dynamic dental care to all of our patients including digital X-rays, dental lasers, and iTero 3D Scanners.
Technologies at Our Dental Clinic
The technology we utilize at Reflections Dental Health Centre helps our dental team make your dental appointments more efficient. Because we are able to project digital scans and X-rays on the monitors in our treatment rooms and show you any problems in your mouth and break down your treatment plan.

Digital X-Rays
Digital X-rays use digital sensors rather than traditional photographic X-ray film. They produce extremely detailed computer images of the teeth and gums, as well as other oral structures and conditions. This lets your dentist examine parts of the mouth that are not visible to the bare eye.
Panoramic X-Rays
Panoramic X-rays let your dentist create a single image of your whole mouth. This image is a flat representation of the teeth, upper and lower jaws, and nasal and sinus structures. Dentists often use panoramic X-rays to help plan treatments for extraction, implants, and dentures.
Dental Lasers
In the dentistry field, lasers (extremely focused light beams) can be utilized in many hard and soft tissue procedures. They let dentists perform dental procedures with less pain and fewer medical interventions. At Reflections Dental Health Centre our dentists use lasers to remove decayed or overgrown tissue, reshape gums, quickly harden dental restorations, or whiten teeth.
Cone Beam Cat Scan
Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a special type of X-ray machine that develops 3D images of dental structures, soft tissues, nerve paths, and bone in the craniofacial region in just one scan. Images received with CBCT provide more precise treatment planning, including analyzing your airway for snoring and sleep apnea treatments.
Oral Cancer Screening Device
The VELscope® is an oral cancer screening device that helps dentists identify abnormalities and diseases in the mouth, such as cancerous and pre-cancerous lesions. This can be performed in your dentist's office using fluorescence visualization technology during routine exams and under normal lighting conditions. This process only takes about two minutes.
iTero 3D Scanner
The iTero® intraoral scanner captures highly accurate, 3D impressions of your bite. It lets our dentists plan your dental treatment in real-time, store data digitally, and create Invisalign clear aligners.
