Most people get dry mouth when they are scared, nervous, or under stress, if you get dry mouth almost all the time then this can cause serious health problems.

The treatment of dry mouth depends on the cause of dry mouth. Some of these may be:

  • radiation therapy,
  • chemotherapy, and
  • nerve damage.

The saliva in your mouth dose more then keep your mouth wet, it protect teeth from decay, helps heal sore mouth, and prevents infections by controlling bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Saliva also helps digest the food we eat and is involved in the taste perception and well.
